Intro..

Hey all, you can call me Asmarina. For those of you that don't know Asmara is a the capital city of Eritrea, and I'd like to think the women from there they call Asmarina but that could be one of my many creations. I currently live in DC{Don't ask me why, I am having a hard time figuring it out myself}. I work for an NPO {Slang for Nonprofit} its not all it's hyped up to be, you want to change the world, create your own organization with your vision. A few things about me:

• I am many things, I'd like to consider my role as a sister, daughter, and friend as the most crucail. I'll complain about all these things on this blog, but my new thing is to be solution oriented and If I don't come up with one..call me out!
  
• I am not perfect by any means but slowly and surely I am learning to be okay with that.
• I am spastic, I am dramatic (unnecessarily so at times) but it's my process, I am learning to own.
• I am still under construction...23 years and going
• I have a shamefully hard time letting things go, but I'd like to think thats a testament to my passion and devoution..NO?
  
• I hate being limited
• I try to life in alliegence with these principles, these things Desired or Desiderata in Latin..written by Max Ehrmann'

Desiderata

Go placidly amid the noise and the haste,

Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune.
But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings.
Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.

Beyond a wholesome discipline,
be gentle with yourself.
You are a child of the universe
no less than the trees and the stars;
you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you,
no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.

Therefore be at peace with God,
whatever you conceive Him to be.
And whatever your labors and aspirations,
in the noisy confusion of life,
keep peace in your soul.

With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams,
it is still a beautiful world.
Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.
